Room 11 Term 2 Writing

YAY we are back at school and learning again, isn't it exciting. in room 11 this term, we are learning on some new things in writing. this term we are learning about paragraphing, conjunctions and persuasive writing. i wrote a story about cyber - bullying. if you want to read it then keep reading. it is a piece of persuasive writing about how cyber bullying should NOT be allowed... here is the story.....




Cyber - bullying is a serious matter that needs to be dealt with, and it needs to be dealt with NOW!!! I am sick and tired of all the bullying that happens it happens everywhere; at school at home maybe even your neighbors bully you. Bullying is bad but cyber - bullying is 10x worse.

People can hide behind their anonymous profiles and internet usernames. All that shows is that THEY ARE COWARDS. Usually people bully because of their own insecurities and sometimes it's even just for fun. Bullying disgusts me, it is a terrible, terrible thing to do and it needs to be stopped.

People all around the world try to stop bullying but it's not like anyone listens. People need to know that what they are doing to these poor innocent people is UNACCEPTABLE i have seen previous news stories about poor young girls that have committed suicide because of cyber - bullying. I want those bullies to know that even by hiding behind they're cowardly and fake internet profiles, YOU WILL GET CAUGHT.

food tech - 2017

We had so much fun in food tech last term. the main thing we did was mama Mia pizzas, technically what they are is normal pizzas bubt really big and cool designs my design was a "taijtu" its a circle with a squiggly lone through the middle with 2 circles on either side of the line.

 we started planning the pizza at the beginning of the year when we first started food tech. but before we made the mama mia meal pizza we made a mama mia snack pizza. the difference between the two is that the snack pizza is small with no design and the meal pizza is big with a cool design.

this is when we had finished rolling and making our pizza dough. we had garic in ours. we were now makint the stuffed crust. it was filled with BBQ sauce and grated cheese.

this is when we were adding the galmon, i was brushing the flour off of my hands.

only 60 seconds left until we had to put them in the oven and we ealised we had forgotten the garllic. OH NO.

this was our designs VS our final product. it didnt turn out quite how we wanted, but it tasted REALLY good.

The Great NZ Road Trip

in room 11  for inquiry we have been working on something called The Great NZ Road Trip it is on a website named prezi. it is about things in new Zealand, for example things like  animals, history and tourist attractions. the plan was that we would work on it each week with a new topic but we got far too busy with other things to do. unfortunately i cant take a photo of it so here is a link that you can have so you can check it out.
